In tandem with Assembly Bill 394 authored by Assembly Member Levine (I’m awaiting his response to an email I sent a few days ago), the alterations initiated by SB777 have very dangerous ramifications. Quickly, Assembly Bill 394 Section 1, Subdivision (b) states that California schools must take an affirmative stance in ensuring the equal education opportunity of all students and combat sexism, racism, and all other forms of bias. Couched in nice pull-at-your-heart-strings language, it is easy to miss why we should all scream “hold your horses!”
Let me put this to you bluntly. A liberal interpretation of the law would now require schools to provide equal (separate?) services to students claiming to be gay, lesbian, bi-sexual, and anything else included in the Penal Code under the classification of hate crimes.
Separate facilities for gay and lesbian students?
Male students allowed in girls locker rooms? Who wants to sign up?
You think I’m joking. Get this, SB 777 changes the Education Code adding that, “Gender means sex, and includes a person’s gender identity and gender related appearance and behavior whether or not stereotypically associated with the person’s assigned sex at birth.” So students can change their gender at will simply by altering their “appearance and behavior?” Say hello to Billy, a 250lb linebacker. He’s now a girl and will be accompanying your daughter to the Girls Locker Room.
Am I being unreasonable here?
Further, any curricula that could be construed to be biased toward alternate lifestyles (re: gay and lesbian lifestyles) would be prohibited. So anything promoting the traditional family, school curriculum or activity would be taboo. I’ve just scratched the surface.
Can anyone say ERA?

At least until such time as the majority rule over moral and ethical standards are once again placed in their proper stand, as a flag of truth, for all to see and follow. The despicable actions of our law makers have not only threatened the sanctity of the home as understood as a unit of procreation and development but it has and will threaten our national sovereignty. History has been very clear regarding the actions of those who forsake morality for convenient understanding of others personal degradation. Loosing focus of ones morality leaves open the gaps of our nations strength allowing others to prey upon the flesh of our iniquity. We as a nation will falter and be destroyed by our own blind and selfish actions.
